You are cordialy invited to the 2nd Annual Wilmington Hometown Holidazzle Illuminated Parade and Festival. This spectacular event will kick off the holiday season for Wilmington, Ohio and all of Clinton County. In 2007 we had 5000+ attendees and are expecting twice that many this year!! The downtown businesses, Chamber of Commerce, Convention and Visitor's Bureau, and many other community organizations are already involved and committed to this event. Hometown HoliDazzle is set for November 29th, 2008 (times will be announced later). Activities will include a children’s area, an illuminated parade, arrival of Santa Claus, street vendors, retailer promotions, live entertainment at the Murphy Theatre and around town and much, much more! All we are missing is YOU! Know someone that enjoys an audience? Please pass the word and encourage all the talented folks you know to join in the fun! We are especially excited to hear from musical ensembles, cheer/dance troupes, acts that could stay on location or stroll about, and others that feature talents that will enlighten our community. Entertainers are welcome to take advantage of this occasion to promote their talents while contributing to the event’s festivities. Performers will be scheduled at various appropriate downtown locations once their are finalized.
